The thinking is never wasted: pause in the open and pick up when the moment comes

The Cyber Boardroom, a GenAI platform for boards with an advisor called Athena, taught Dinis what personas and customised output are worth and paused because nobody wants confidential board material in an environment somebody else runs; what it needed is what he later built as sgit. MyFeeds built personalised feeds on semantic graphs, found the industry silent on graphs, micropayments and paying the people who write, and paused. The 2025 writing on monetising trust, fact provenance and micro and nano payments is what the newsroom now stands on, and he is going back to the publishers with an end-to-end example; if it does not land in 2026 he will try in 2027. Because it was open and written down, it was there when the moment came.

Note. The Cyber Boardroom and MyFeeds are summarised from memory in the article, and the proofs of concept are not all published. For the founder it illustrates connect-the-dots-backwards: a pivot leaves assets when it is done in the open.
