Reading. The 28 published chapters in the print edition's order; the drafts and outlines after them, marked. Keys: j/k next and previous chapter, g the graph, f focus (folds everything but the open chapter).
The meter. A penny per 250 words, charged for the share of a chapter you actually scrolled through, never less than a tenth once opened; £5 of credit to start, allowed below zero, nothing blocked, nothing sent anywhere. The newsroom's rules, kept in this browser (genz.reader.v1).
Review mode (the editor's desk). Each chapter has a state: unread, reading, read, to review, continue, signed off. Comment on any paragraph. Filter the book to one state and fold the rest. Export your review as markdown or JSON for the vault's reviews/ folder, or import one. Nothing here is sent anywhere unless you export it.
The graph. The open chapter in the middle; its part, the chapters before and after, the chapters it shares terms with (the terms on the edge), and the newsroom articles that have since answered it. Your paragraphs run along the bottom, one bar each: comments and reading colour them. Click a node to go there; the whole-book view shows every chapter by part.
