Explorer, villager, town planner

For ch. 4, Where do you land? · proposal three-centres-of-gravity in the plan

Three columns. The explorer is bursting with ideas, sees failure as just an experiment, makes a prototype for early adopters, and reads explorer coding and building fast with agents first. The villager loves the user, does not like failure that much, packages and releases, and reads shipping, selling and your own newsroom first. The town planner geeks out on the details, likes to be invisible, makes something a commodity, and reads controlling your agent, the record, serverless for real and reading code as a graph first.

The SVG The data Review it in the plan

What it is for

This is the chapter the rest of the book is navigated by; a reader who can find their column at a glance knows which badged chapters to jump to from the contents.

How it is made

Drawn by admin/build/infographic_svg.py from admin/content/infographics/drawn/three-centres-of-gravity.json, as a comparison. Change the data and rebuild; the picture follows. It keeps the book's colours in every theme of this site, because it is a printed picture: the same file goes into the PDF.

Notes

The storyboard 04__where-do-you-land has one scene per persona; this is the reference table. The badges are 'a first attempt' per the text; reuse the storyboard's drawn badges. Wardley's quoted definitions are his (CC BY-SA material); attribute.

Every line below is on the drawing or behind it, and the build found each one word for word in v2/content/1-before-you-start/04__where-do-you-land.md. A line changed in the chapter and not here stops the release.
