How to actually do it: a limited company in the UK, Lithuania, Portugal, the European Union, the cloud providers and the programmes
The book should say the steps, for real, from experience and not as legal or tax advice: creating a limited company in the UK; the case for Lithuania; Portugal, where running a company with little revenue is expensive in a way it is not in England; the EU and what exists for a founder; the cloud providers, the startup funds and programmes as they stand this year. The newsroom has none of this yet: six gap articles, one memo each.
Decided by. Dinis, in Gen ZX Developers, adopted as the frame of rc2 (decision 015)
Note. Article first: the chapters stand in rc2 as their titles, their ideas and what is missing until the journalist's gap articles arrive.
Where it comes from
- Gen ZX Developers The objective: start a company; What the newsroom does not have (article)
- Not a straight line Lithuania, 'for its digital advantages' (newsroom)
What it answers in the 2018 book
- none named
Where it goes
Chapter The company itself: the UK, Portugal, Lithuania, the European Union, part Start the company (drafting); topic Be a founder (or a one-person service).
Other ideas proposed for the same chapter: What the newsroom says about Lithuania and the Portuguese company, as of 12 October 2026: two lines, What spending millions on Upwork taught: build the infrastructure first, and the jobs can go back to where people came from.
