The agents wrote the code, Dinis wrote the briefs and merged: 38% of commits in February, over 85% from September

Of the 1,671 commits under Dinis's name on the SG/Send app, 1,298 are merges of the agents' branches and most of the rest are brief files. The agents' share of the app's commits rose from 38% in February 2026 to over 85% from September. The way of working was written down on the day the site went live: voice memos become briefs, briefs flow down, debriefs flow up; explorers and villagers from 14 February, no town planners yet.

Decided by. Nobody yet: a candidate for Dinis to read, comment on and decide (keep, rewrite, merge, cut, article first, later, not doing it).

Note. Commit counts include automation (release tags and some commits by CI), as the article says. Counts from git logs of all branches on 15 October 2026.

Where it goes

Chapter How to work with agents, part Working with agents (drafting); topic How to work with agents: briefs, voice, one shared state.

Other ideas proposed for the same chapter: An agent is a session with a focus: one session per topic, named, with a role file, The brief is the unit of work, and writing it as an article forces the research, Omnichannel programming: brief by voice, review on the phone, one shared state, Every mistake added a rule: the complexity trap of the agent operator, A wording correction is made once and enforced; a content correction is new thinking every time.
