# The 2018 files with neither an article nor an idea

**What.** The map says 36 files have no newsroom article; after the register's first pass some of those still have no idea either (the hub counts them). Each becomes an idea marked "article first" with a brief for the journalist, or a proposal to cut, with the reason, for Dinis.

**Done when.** Every 2018 file is either answered by an article, answered by an idea, or listed under "left out, on purpose" on `graph/chapters.html` with a reason.
